Julie's philosophy is that there are times when medications are a useful resource.  Certain circumstances require clients to stabilize via conventional medicine so that complementary and alternative therapies can be most effective.  Julie's integrative approach to mental health care is, when indicated, to use the minimum amount of medication necessary to adjunct wellness modalities such as psychotherapy, mindfulness, bodywork, exercise, and lifestyle changes.  She works in collaboration with clients, empowering them to make changes that will help them achieve their goals.  Julie strives to form a treatment plan with the best balance between holistic and allopathic medical care.
